Ohio State's official visitor list for this weekend has shrunk by one.
Four-star Ohio defensive end Elias Rudolph announced Monday evening he'll no longer be taking his scheduled official visit to Ohio State this weekend, and will announce his college commitment at 5:30 p.m. on July 3 at Taft High School in Cincinnati.
I will like to announce that I will be committing on July 3rd at Taft highschool , at 530, and I will not be goin to Ohio state official this weekend

Rudolph announced a trio of finalists: Miami, Michigan and Pittsburgh. Michigan is the heavy favorite to land the 6-foot-4, 205-pound edge prospect. Should he commit to Michigan, he'd be the 22nd commitment in the Wolverines' second-ranked recruiting class (presuming no one else commits by July 3).

Regardless of Rudolph no longer making an official visit to OSU, the Buckeyes will be more than happy with their defensive end haul for the 2024 cycle if they can close on three prospects they have plenty of momentum with. OSU is the current favorite to land five-star prospect Eddrick Houston and four-star defensive end Marquise Lightfoot, while the Buckeyes also have momentum with five-star pass rusher Dylan Stewart following his official visit over the weekend.
