Ohio State's top remaining target in the 2025 recruiting class has set a decision date.
Five-star 2025 offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. released a final four schools list on Sunday consisting of Ohio State, Tennessee, Georgia and Nebraska. He'll announce his college decision on Aug. 17.

It's been no secret that the recruitment of Sanders is pivotal to the Buckeyes' 2025 class. Not only could Ohio State use a player of his caliber because of a few recruiting shortcomings with premier offensive tackles in previous cycles, but if Sanders opts to play for one of his other three finalists, there isn't a clear backup option the Buckeyes could pivot to at his position.
Of Sanders' final four, all the momentum has been with Ohio State and Tennessee the past few weeks, though he has visited Georgia and Nebraska within the past two months. He took his official visit to Columbus on June 21 and made two trips to Ohio State this spring. The 6-foot-6, 290-pound Sanders is rated the No. 2 overall prospect and the No. 1 offensive tackle per 247Sports' composite rankings for 2025.
While a lot can happen over the next five weeks, the Buckeyes are believed to have a very slight edge in Sanders' recruitment following his official visits.
