Devin Smith's ability to run in a straight line really, really fast is one of the main reasons he's inline to be one of the first wide receivers taken in the 2015 NFL Draft. (Also worth mentioning: His deep ball-tracking ability, body control, and high-pointing ability, but that's a discussion for another time.)
Smith was a 100m Ohio high school champion (as well as in long jump), so he's been burning people for a long time, but he might literally have hundreds of thousands — if not millions — of dollars riding on his upcoming 40-yard dash at this week's combine in Indianapolis.
