All 32 NFL teams sent envoys to Columbus for today's pro day at The Ohio State University. Among the departing seniors, names like former receiver Chris Fields and offensive lineman/Ann Arbor pillager Marcus Hall, are also working out in front of the bevy of scouts and coaches (Cincinnati's Marvin Lewis and Pittsburgh's Mike Tomlin, to name a few).
And while Cardale Jones is not among them, Troy Smith, another Cleveland Glenville alumnus, will be throwing to receivers and tight end Jeff Heuerman.

It's unclear as to whether Smith is doing this as a favor to the program or another crack at the NFL, but as 97.1 The Fan's Lori Schmidt points out, Smith said he was still chasing a professional career as little as five months ago. He won't lack for supporters in these halls.
And as a Cleveland Browns fan/stooge — I should have written this in crayon — my take is they should give Troy millions of dollars to come lead their team next season.
