A lot of people laughed when I ran an article in May under the headline: "Video: The Robert Griffin–Terrelle Pryor Connection Will Lead the Cleveland Browns to Super Bowl LI."
Well, who's laughing now? Certainly not the Atlanta Falcons' secondary.
Trailing 7-0 midway through the first quarter of Thursday night's exhibition against the Falcons, new Browns quarterback (is there any other kind?) Robert Griffin dropped back and found Terrelle Pryor 50 yards down the field, running free of CB Desmond Trufant, the Falcons' 2013 first-round draft pick.
@MarcSesslerNFL As a Falcon fan.... I've never seen Tru get beaten deep like that....

Pryor and Trufant, who shared an exchange during the Browns' first possession that stalled in a three-and-out, also exchanged words in the end zone. I'm no lip reader, but it looks like Pryor kept shouting "Pro Bowl!" at Troufant.
Again, don't quote me on that.
