2025 cornerback Jordyn Woods flips from Cincinnati and commits to Ohio State.
You might not know this but Urban Meyer is a master motivator.
His 2016 Ohio State Buckeyes hung on ever word of his pregame speech Saturday night. The Buckeyes destroyed No. 10 Nebraska 62-3 under the lights at Ohio Stadium.
“Lay it down on the table and go,” Meyer shouted in the locker room before kickoff. “All phases: Dominate!”
The Buckeyes did just that. Two defensive touchdowns and a ton of other points left Nebraska yearning to leave Columbus as soon as it could. Check out Meyer's impassioned speech as well as this soundbite from quarterback J.T. Barrett in the video above, sent out by the program.
"We're going to make plays down the field receivers because that's what we do,” Barrett said. “Offensive line—we're going to drive them off the ball. Because that's what we do.”
EVERYONE LISTENED.
The full highlight of the victory should be out in a few days. Until then, this should tide you over.
