Michigan State put Ohio State on the ropes late in the fourth quarter when Ohioan Sparty running back L.J. Scott plunged one-yard into the end zone to make it 17-16, Buckeyes, with 4:41 left in the game.
The run gave Scott 160 yards rushing on the day (and 76 yards and one touchdown receiving) on the day.
Feeling a momentum shift, Mark Dantonio sent Tyler O'Connor back on to the field for a go-ahead two-point attempt. A few seconds later, Malik Hooker clutched the ball in the end zone.
