Michigan never beat former Ohio State safety Kurt Coleman. In fact, its teams lost by 70 combined points from 2006 to 2009.

Coleman, a seventh-round draftee by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2010, now plays safety for the Carolina Panthers. He signed a three-year extension with the team back in July.

And though his team plays in Oakland against the Raiders, it's clear old rivalries never die. Monday afternoon, Coleman met with reporters at his locker while wearing a Buckeye hat and shirt.

Obviously, it wasn't a coincidence.

Asked if Michigan is "at a disadvantage" this year, Coleman minced no words. "They're always at a disadvantage. They're our little brothers. I mean, it's okay. I love fun. I really do. I just feel bad for them they had to go to that school."
