Lou Holtz was an honorary coach for Ohio State's scarlet team in today's spring game. He used that position, as well as his "team's" win, to highlight how he has never lost a game as an Ohio State coach. This is technically true. He was at Ohio State for just one year, which happened to be the undefeated national championship team from 1968.
Meyer invited Holtz to talk to the locker room after the game. Holtz' comments were glowing and appreciative of the opportunity. He praised the team's "great potential" and chemistry. He punctuated it by saying he'll be at the national championship game at the end of the season and he looks forward to seeing the Buckeyes there.
