Before the sun came up Thursday morning, Ohio State was on the practice field at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center for its first official workout of the 2017 campaign. It marked the beginning of the sixth fall camp under head coach Urban Meyer.
The Buckeyes will practice again Friday morning before taking the weekend off. Ohio State will resume Monday and practice all the way up to the season-opener Aug. 31 in Bloomington against Indiana.
The first 15 minutes of Thursday's practice were open for media viewing. Eleven Warriors was on hand Thursday and some observations can be seen here. Additionally, some footage from the practice can be seen in the video posted above.
