Week 7 of the Coaches Poll has arrived and Urban Meyer's squad moved up one spot to No. 8 after suffocating Maryland yesterday afternoon in the Shoe.
It looked like No. 7 could be in reach but TCU jumped three spots from No. 10, and thus over the Buckeyes, following their home win against then-No. 23 West Virginia.
Oklahoma's shocking loss at home to Iowa State paved the way for OSU's jump as the Sooners fell from No. 3 to No. 12.
Michigan also tumbled nine spots to No. 16 after looking awful at home against Michigan State. The Spartans enjoyed the highest bump, gaining 14 spots and landing in the No. 22 slot.
Alabama and Clemson kept their strangleholds on the top two spots while Penn State, Washington and Georgia all gained one spot to round out the top five.
Rounding out the B1G, Wisconsin jumped two spots to No. 6
