Former Ohio State defender John Simon scored the first regular-season touchdown of his NFL career on Monday night.
The former Buckeye defensive end, who is now in his fifth NFL season as an outside linebacker and first season with the Indianapolis Colts, intercepted Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota at the line of scrimmage and returned it 26 yards for a touchdown on Monday Night Football.
The pick-six is Simon's first touchdown in a game that counts since 2010, when he returned a fumble 30 yards for a touchdown while playing for the Buckeyes against Minnesota. Simon did score two touchdowns – one on an interception return and one on a fumble return – for the Houston Texans in the 2016 preseason.
