After the off week, and no losses in the top five, Ohio State stayed at No. 6 in this week's coaches poll.
Alabama stays at No. 1 after throttling Tennessee, while the Nittany Lions strengthen their hold on the No. 2 spot after soundly defeating Michigan. In fact, the top six spots all remained the same this week, as none of those teams lost.
The first change came in at No's 7/8, where Clemson flipped with Miami after the Hurricanes narrow escape over Syracuse. The biggest riser this week was Notre Dame, who jumped six spots after defeating USC, while the Trojans 11-spot slide to No. 22 was the biggest drop.
In Big Ten news, Michigan slid down all the way to No. 25 after they were demolished by Penn State, while the Nittany Lions, Wisconsin, and Ohio State all stood pat. Michigan State jumped up one place to No. 18 due to Michigan's loss and subsequent slide.
