Despite Penn State's lofty No. 2 ranking, the oddsshark.com opening line has Ohio State as a seven-point favorite for this weekend's contest in Columbus.
ESPN College Gameday will be on site for the game, as both the Buckeyes and the Nittany Lions will clash in a top-ten matchup. It appears that both teams will keep their current rankings, with Penn State being No. 2 and the Buckeyes coming in at No. 6.
Recent history does not exactly bode well for the Buckeyes, however. Penn State is 14-1-1 in it's last 16 games against the spread, while the Buckeyes are just 1-4 in their last five home games against the spread. One good note, however, is that Ohio State is 9-2 in their last 11 games at home against Penn State versus the spread.
