K.J. Hill is coming into his own, y'all.
The redshirt sophomore out of Little Rock hauled in 12 passes during Ohio State's stunning victory over Penn State, good for the 4th-most in a single-game in school history.
Hill's big night was much needed as he did most of his work from the slot after Parris Campbell went down with an injury after fumbling his first and only catch of the day.
Even better, eight of Hill's 12 grabs came during scoring drives including a 14-yard snag on 2nd-and-4 setting up J.T. Barrett's game-winning toss to Marcus Baugh.

After tallying seven grabs for 80 yards and a pair of scores against Nebraska, Hill has 19 catches for 182 yards and two touchdowns over his last two outings.
He's also the team's leading receiver with 40 catches so far this year and while his yards per catch could still use a boost, he did post five catches of 10+ yards tonight including a 24-yarder.
Much of Zone Six stepped up tonight (I see you, Austin Mack) but Hill gave Barrett that constant security blanket needed on a night when the Buckeyes were forced to play from behind, thus throwing it a season-high 39 times.
Tip of the cap to Hill in stepping up for a second-straight week and falling just two catches shy of tying David Boston's single-game receptions record.
