Social Reactions: Fun Times in Texas As Ohio State Pulls Off a Comeback That Was Cool As Hell to Watch

The win last night against TCU was a perfect reminder of why we watch college football.

The NFL is fine. I've had arguments with people who love it because they feel that as the pinnacle of the sport, it's also the best expression of it. Fine, I can accept that (extremely wrong) argument. But it's telling that the most fun I've had watching the NFL over the past several years or so is in rooting for an 1-31 team to tie another, much more successful team. And as a Bengals fan I'm both agnostic about success in general and ostensibly an enemy of both aforementioned teams.

So, you know, whatever. TCU/Ohio State was a billion times more fun than any NFL game I've ever seen. There was a huge comeback, literally a thousand yards of offense, trick plays, a big guy touchdown, controversy, and the Buckeyes won. Which was great!

I FEEL LIKE THERE'S A HEART-WARMING STORY HERE SO I'M GOING TO WITHHOLD JUDGEMENT UNTIL WE FIND OUT WHY THE HELL THIS HAS HAPPENED

THE REST

Not too bad for an early-season out of conference matchup! We get another one next week, and then things get even more interesting.
