Dre'Mont Jones still has another season of remaining eligibility at Ohio State after this one, but it's been widely expected that he will enter the 2019 NFL draft.
When asked after Saturday's 62-39 win over Michigan what that victory meant to him, Jones hinted toward the likelihood that he will go pro after this year.
"It’s so much emotions behind this win, because given what people were saying about us, it’s hard to really explain in words how I feel," Jones said after the game. "It’s my last game in the Shoe, and I got four Gold Pants now."
Jones hasn't explicitly said that he will enter the 2019 NFL draft, but he's hinted at it on several occasions, including last January – when he was already draft-eligible – and decided to return for this season.
He did respond on Twitter, saying he was referring to his last game in the 'Shoe this season.
I meant it was my last game in the Shoe this year lol https://t.co/Kb5Aa0NtYX
