The Madden 20 rookie ratings are in.
If you're already getting excited to play with the rookie Buckeyes in the latest addition of Madden, this should get you salivating a bit more.
EA Sports released their full Madden ratings for each 2019 rookie on Monday, including 10 former Ohio State players trying to make a splash at the next level.
PLAYER | TEAM | POSITION | OVERALL RATING |
---|---|---|---|
NICK BOSA | 49ERS | DE | 78 |
DWAYNE HASKINS | REDSKINS | QB | 72 |
PARRIS CAMPBELL | COLTS | WR | 71 |
TERRY MCLAURIN | REDSKINS | WR | 70 |
KENDALL SHEFFIELD | FALCONS | CB | 68 |
DRE'MONT JONES | BRONCOS | DT | 67 |
JOHNNIE DIXON | TEXANS | WR | 66 |
MIKE WEBER | COWBOYS | RB | 64 |
ISAIAH PRINCE | DOLPHINS | OL | 60 |
MICHAEL JORDAN | BENGALS | OL | 58 |
Nick Bosa tops the ratings among former Buckeyes with a 78 overall rating – the third-highest rating of all 2019 rookies behind fellow defensive linemen Quinnen Williams (Alabama) and Ed Oliver (Houston). Arguably the best pass-rusher in the class, Bosa has the top-rated finesse moves among all rookies.
Dwayne Haskins also comes in highly rated at 72 overall, which is the second-highest rating among former Buckeyes and also the second-highest rating among rookie quarterbacks, behind only No.1 overall pick Kyler Murray. Haskins is tied for the slowest quarterback but has the highest awareness, short accuracy and medium accuracy ratings among rookie quarterbacks.
Parris Campbell and Terry McLaurin are the only two other former Buckeyes to crack 70 overall, but Johnnie Dixon also got some love from the Madden team, getting a 66 overall rating as an undrafted free agent – higher than Mike Weber, Isaiah Prince and Michael Jordan, who were all drafted.
Jordan received perhaps the biggest snub of any former Ohio State player as he was given a 58 overall rating despite being a fourth-round selection in the 2019 NFL Draft.
