Three former Buckeyes wideouts went off the board consecutively at the 2022 NFL draft.

Garrett Wilson became the first Buckeye (and second wide receiver) to be selected in the first round of the event in Las Vegas Thursday, as the New York Jets drafted the Texas native with the No. 10 overall pick.

Chris Olave didn't have to wait long to hear his own name called, though, as the New Orleans Saints traded up to take Ohio State's all-time receiving touchdowns record-holder with the very next pick, as the Olave was the 11th player taken overall. With that selection, Wilson and Olave became the first pair of Ohio State wideouts to be taken in the first round of the draft since Ted Ginn Jr. and Anthony Gonzalez did so in 2007.

Just one pick later, Jameson Williams got in on the action, as the former Buckeye who became a household name after transferring to Alabama this past season was taken with the No. 12 overall pick by the Detroit Lions. Just like the Saints, the Lions also traded up to nab a former Ohio State wideout.

Former coaches and teammates, top Buckeye recruiting targets, NFL stars and many more weighed on social media immediately after each member of the the trio heard their name called in Las Vegas, and you can check out the best reactions on Twitter below.
