Update: An Ohio State spokesperson said the 500 tickets for each practice sold out in the first 75 minutes they were on sale Thursday morning. Tickets for the kickoff luncheon remain available.
If you’ve ever wanted to attend an Ohio State football practice, you now have that chance.
Ohio State announced Wednesday that it will open its first two practices of preseason camp on Aug. 3 and Aug. 4 to fans, with tickets for each practice session costing $30.
500 tickets will be sold for each practice and will cost $30 each. Each ticket will also come with a commemorative 2023 Ohio State camp hat that will be available to fans upon check-in at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. Each practice will begin at approximately 9:15 a.m. with gates opening at 8:30 a.m.
Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday and can be purchased here.
Additionally, Ohio State will hold a kickoff luncheon with Ryan Day and assistant coaches after the Aug. 4 practice at the Fawcett Center from noon to 1:30 p.m. that Friday. Tables of eight for the luncheon, which will include remarks from Day and a Q&A session with the coaching staff, will be sold for $2,500 and can be purchased here.
Proceeds from tickets to the practices and the kickoff luncheon — which are being sold by Ohio State Sports Properties, a division of Learfield, rather than Ohio State’s athletic department — will benefit Ohio State’s NIL efforts.
