Ohio State defensive line coach Larry Johnson set the tone in this week's Penn State Game Trailer.
"The edge is not going to the edge and saying, 'I'm average. I'm good. I'm good for the day.' We got enough elite players that we should be dragging guys to be elite. It begins to be elite when you cross the line," Johnson said. "Today is that kind of day. You can feel it. You can sense it. Every guy has got a chance to do that today. If you are elite, grab somebody today. Take 'em with you. There is no more average in this program! Not in this program!"
Johnson's voice was followed by Ohio State head coach Ryan Day, linebacker Tommy Eichenberg, quarterback Kyle McCord and strength and conditioning coach Mickey Marotti, among others. Those Buckeyes explained the importance of The Brotherhood and the love the team's players can have for each other on the field, starting Saturday with Ohio State's top-10 showdown with Penn State.
It may be Ohio State's best trailer yet. But that's for you to decide.
Season 2023, Vol. 7, starts on Saturday.
