Guiton reunites with former Ohio State assistant coach Luke Fickell, who is approaching the end of his first season as Wisconsin’s head coach. Fickell was an assistant coach for all five of Guiton’s years with the Buckeyes (2009-13), including his season as interim head coach in 2011.
Guiton was the wide receivers coach at Arkansas for the past three years, taking over interim offensive coordinator duties for the end of the 2023 season following Arkansas’ firing of former offensive coordinator Dan Enos. The 2024 season will be Guiton’s 10th year in coaching; he began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Houston in 2014 and took his first full-time coaching job as Houston’s wide receivers coach in 2017, spending two years in that role before one-year stints at Louisiana Tech and Colorado State.
Guiton replaces Mike Brown, who left Fickell’s staff after one year as Wisconsin’s wide receivers coach to become the wide receivers coach at Notre Dame.
