Joe Philbin is headed back to the NFL.
After spending one season in Columbus as a senior analyst, Philbin is joining the Las Vegas Raiders' coaching staff as a senior offensive assistant, per NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport.

Philbin has no shortage of NFL ties, working for the Dallas Cowboys as their offensive line coach, the Green Bay Packers as their offensive coordinator and the Miami Dolphins as head coach for four seasons.
In Columbus, Philbin worked primarily with Justin Frye helping him with the Buckeyes' offensive line while adding another veteran voice to Ohio State’s offensive coaching staff.
Ohio State still has two senior analysts on its coaching staff for 2024: Todd Fitch, who is entering his fourth year working with Ohio State’s offense, and former Penn State wide receiver Tony Johnson – a son of defensive line coach Larry Johnson – who was hired by the Buckeyes earlier this month.
