Ohio State is now down two starting offensive linemen against Oregon.

Starting left tackle Josh Simmons was carted off the field with an apparent left leg injury for the No. 2 Buckeyes against the No. 3 Ducks. Starting right guard Tegra Tshabola also exited the game previously with an apparent injury.

Fourth-year lineman Zen Michalski swapped in for Simmons at left tackle. Unlike Austin Siereveld, who substituted for Tshabola and has multiple starts under his belt, Michalski has limited experience playing almost exclusively near the end of blowouts for Ohio State.

Michalski was involved in last year's competition to start at tackle but faded before preseason camp as Simmons and Josh Fryar took over at left and right tackle, respectively.

Simmons went down while setting up for protection on an OSU passing play. He's yet to return to Ohio State's sideline.
