Ohio State will "Scarlet the Shoe" for the first-ever College Football Playoff game at Ohio Stadium.

As the Buckeyes prepare for tickets to go on sale for the general public on Thursday, Ohio State announced Wednesday that its Dec. 21 matchup with Tennessee will be a Scarlet Out.

The announcement came one day after it teased Buckeye Nation with a social media post full of scarlet circle emojis. It also came two days after the school's associate athletic director for marketing and live events, Caleb Clark, posted that he looks forward to Buckeye Nation seeing "what we're cooking up" for the Tennessee game.

Sources told Eleven Warriors’ Josh Poloha that Ohio State is planning to wear its all-scarlet "Color Rush" uniforms with the addition of the gray sleeve stripes it typically wears on its College Football Playoff uniforms.
