We're not even a month into 2021 but we have a strong contender for troll of the year.

If you don't get it, direct your attention here:
Source: Tennessee #Vols got sloppy with recruiting. They were handing recruits cash in McDonald's bags when they visited campus.

Word of the Day: Parturient.
THE SHADE! With pretty much every NFL announcement made at this point, we can now get a good idea of what next year's team is going to look like – as our very own Colin Hass-Hill did on Twitter.com.
It was helpful and fun, except it took Big Thanos all of seven minutes to call out the snub.

I'm not sure what it says that Dawand just went ahead and assumed the "Jones" at right guard wasn't him, but personally, I would love to see 6-foot-8, 360 pounds somewhere on the offensive line, so you better believe I will be openly stumping for him all offseason.
Also, we need to talk about the running back position, because I don't know about you, but I'm personally into starting the best players at every position.
JUST MORE STARTERS. Script Ohio is cool, but my favorite Ohio State tradition would have to be losing a key player and replacing them with somebody who turns out to be just as good or sometimes even better.
Here is this year's iteration:
Matthew Jones is only a RS SO but he's very impressive in the run game. Quick on pulls. Really good latch power and drive strength.
— Matt Miller (@nfldraftscout) January 19, 2021
Entering the season, I'd barely even heard Matthew Jones' name mentioned, which is wild considering he was the top-rated center in his class. But the guy got the green light in the two biggest games of the season and was legit dominant.
It was as if Cardale Jones was a guard...
SURGERY COMING. To be frank, Michael Thomas was putting up some less-than-100-million-dollar numbers this year. Turns out, there was a very good reason for that.
Saints WR Michael Thomas is likely to have surgeries on both the torn deltoid and other injured ligaments in his high ankle this offseason, per source. He knew it was likely Drew Brees last year and didnt want to miss out trying win a Super Bowl with him.

Prayers up that he gets back to his regular-old unguardable self by the start of next season, for his sake and the sake of my fantasy team.
PORTAL POSSIBILITIES. So far, Ryan Day's dabbling in the transfer portal has given the Buckeyes the most talented quarterback in program history, a running back that broke the single-game rushing record and averaged 9-yards a carry down the stretch, and a guard who finished first-team All-Big Ten and currently starts in the NFL.
Needless to say, he does not need or want my advice on the matter. But this is my show, so I'm going to give it anyway.
Amidst rumors, 2018 4-star DB Jalen Green has officially entered the transfer portal after totaling 47 tackles, 3 TFL, 1 INT and 7 PD at Texas #Longhorns @rivalsmike @RivalsWoody @DMcComasOB @OBWire https://t.co/UaqMR9t70C

Between Sevyn Banks, Marcus Williamson and Cam Brown, I think Ohio State could be fine at cornerback next season. But personally, I'm not really cool with "fine" when there are available options to make it better.
So, my portal wish list is officially Jalen Green and Palaie Gaoteote (who happens to be Haskell Garrett's cousin). Please and thank you.
