2025 cornerback Jordyn Woods flips from Cincinnati and commits to Ohio State.
The football game played this weekend may be mostly pretend, but the crowd will be very real. And the players are probably more ready than we are.
Ryan Day on fans being able to attend the spring game: I know our guys love that, because they're all show-offs. That's what I call them.

Here's hoping those show-offs can do their thing in front of 100,000+ this fall, but 19,180 is a start.
Word of the Day: Extemporaneous.
TALKING 'BOUT PRACTICE. The good news is, Ohio State gave away close to 80 percent of its available tickets to this year's spring game, and the remaining bit only cost $5 for the general public to purchase.
The bad news is, if you weren't among the blessed 19,180 to already have their ticket, the resale market ain't exactly kind right now.
$100+ a ticket for a practice that Ryan Day isn't even sure will include tackling is definitely a big yikes. But given the circumstances, I won't judge a single soul for simply ponying up the cash.
Those price gougers, however, can rot in a ditch.
TBDIBTL BACK. Fans ain't the only ones returning to the 'Shoe on Saturday – The Ohio State University Marching Band is ready to roll.

After more than a year without the euphonious sound of mellifluous brass in that concrete cathedral on the Olentangy, witnessing a proper ramp entrance from The Best Damn Band in the Land to the sweet sound of Le Regiment would be damn near a religious experience. And that's before we even get to The Incomprable.
Listen, for those of you paying $100+ to be in attendance, I get it.
GODSPEED, CJ. This probably shouldn't come as a surprise to anybody, but the CJ Walker era at Ohio State has officially come to an end.
— Cj Walker (@cjwalk13) April 12, 2021
I think the Buckeyes are in a unique position where they very much benefitted from having Walker around last year, but at the same time, if they miss him too much next year it means that something has gone terribly wrong.
Most of all, I will miss the free throws, which were damn near automatic.
OKAY, SURE. I was understandably a little bit salty when the best player on Ohio State's women's team decided to spend her final two seasons elsewhere.
But when I learned the destination...

Listen, I get it.
While I certainly wish Ohio State could simply be on par with UConn, I also live in this current realm of reality where there's no shot that'll ever be the case until Geno rides off into the sunset.
So, all I can really say is coongrats on the upcoming Natty(s), Dorka.

NOT STICKING TO SPORTS. The world's greatest airport that never was... The first-ever GMO mosquitoes will be released in the Florida Keys... Bill Hwang ad $20 billion, then lost it all in two days... This heroin-using professor wants to change how we think about drugs... A mysterious suicide cluster... How mushrooms took over food, wellness and drugs...
