The Division II Findlay Oilers football team will sport new helmets this fall with player last names on the back. Not a terrible idea for a budding program looking to generate a little pub heading into the season, but we wonder how the helmet will look on a player with a name longer than "Ford," like, Harold Jones-Quartey, for example.
Former Buckeye Verlon Reed will be sporting one of these new helmets this fall after transferring to Findlay in January and earning a spring game start at quarterback.
