With a 42-14 win over Indiana in late November, the Ohio State football team broke a 44-year-old school record with the program's 23rd win in a row. A week later, Urban Meyer's team added a little padding, knocking off Michigan in an Ann Arbor classic.
24 wins. In a row. If Urban Meyer was put on earth to do anything, it's to win football games, but if we're being realistic, there's a good chance none of us will ever see something like this again.
In honor of this feat, the players recently received special game balls featuring the dates, opponents and scores from the two unbeaten regular seasons that went into the streak. Tight end Jeff Heuerman tweeted a photo of his today.
