This season, Butt has 48 catches for 620 yards and three touchdowns for the 9-3 Wolverines. He was named first-team All-Big Ten and was the Big Ten Tight End of the Year. Butt has 1,066 receiving yards and seven touchdowns over his three seasons thus far at Michigan.
Widely projected as a mid-round selection and one of the top tight end prospects in the country, Butt said Monday he was "50/50" on his decision. That decision has since been made.
"I'd say it's 50/50," Butt said Monday, via the Detroit Free Press. "I can't say I'm leaning one way or another without talking to coach [Jim] Harbaugh."
