Wrigley Field has been officially transformed into a football field for next week’s Northwestern/Ohio State game.
Videos posted on social media this week by Anand Nanduri offer a first look at the field the Buckeyes and Wildcats will play on as Northwestern hosts Ohio State at the home of the Chicago Cubs on Nov. 16.

The field will feature the same configuration as past years when Northwestern has hosted games at Wrigley. One end zone is in front of the third baseline while the other faces the ivy in what typically is right field.
Northwestern’s game against Ohio State will be one of two that it hosts at Wrigley Field this month along with its season finale against Illinois on Nov. 30. The Wildcats played their first five games of the season at Martin Stadium, the home of their lacrosse and soccer stadiums, while its on-campus football stadium, Ryan Field, is being rebuilt.
Ohio State’s Nov. 16 game against Northwestern is scheduled for a noon ET kickoff – 11 a.m. local in Chicago – and will be televised by Big Ten Network.
