Hundreds of Georgia fans who have planned for months to attend tonight's UGA-Notre Dame game in South Bend are finding out they probably aren't going to be attending the game after all:

Fans have been told they're not receiving tickets they have paid for after a ticket broker, Jeff Cook, allegedly oversold his allotment. Fans have shown up to Notre Dame's campus only to find out they don't have a ticket.

Many of those fans have complained to the Putnam County sheriff, who is not taking this lightly:

(Sheriff Howard) Sills is not thrilled about Cook's business practices. He's closely following Cook's business, and said that if he has indeed stolen fans' money by not giving them their tickets, he will "throw his ass in jail."

The Bulldogs face the Irish tonight at 7:30pm. The last time Georgia left the SEC footprint was in 2010 when it lost at Colorado. Prior to that, the Bulldogs visited Ann Arbor in 1965.
