"There's nothing that can replace the feeling of winning." - Joe Torre
Things got off to a rocky start in week one as we missed on the majority of our submissions. Week two was much better and we actually turned a small profit. The third week of the season? Well we just went 8-5 and we're feeling a little sassy about this current winning streak.
So who delivered for us? Clemson came through in a big way and easily covered the 3.5-point spread against Louisville. The Trojans and Longhorns may have been the best game of the weekend, and fortunately for us the point total was kept under 68.
We said that taking over 49 points in the Florida/Tennessee game probably wasn't going to work out in our best interest, and sure enough the total only reached 46 as the Gators won on a Hail Mary. This is where I would again tell you that taking the over in a Florida game is never wise, but then you'd get to our picks for the coming weekend and cringe a little bit.
It's also worth noting that we had Texas A&M -24 against mighty Louisiana Lafayette. The Aggies came out on top by a score of 45-21, so that one was a push. Thanks a lot, Kevin Sumlin.
Moving away from football for a second. How about the week that was for our hero? Richard "Clay" Travis appeared on national television last week and cracked some hilarious jokes similar to what my junior high-aged cousins make around the campfire. #ClassicClay
An internet sleuth also unveiled Clay's gambling tactics and how he allegedly uses "stale lines" to scam readers into using his BetOnline affiliate—all the while collecting a cut from their losses. #ShootersShoot
*Back to the task at hand and a reminder of the whole premise here*
- No analysis is involved as we are just making the opposite picks. None of this actually reflects our thoughts, opinions, or insight.
- For now we are sticking with $10 on each line. Please note that the lines do move throughout the week.
- Ohio State won't be included on our end.

11W Week Four Picks:
Florida (-2) @ Kentucky, OVER 44 points
Penn State (-12.5) @ Iowa
Georgia (-5) vs. Mississippi State
Michigan (-10) @ Purdue
Kansas (+22) vs. West Virginia
Auburn (-19) @ Missouri
Old Dominion (+28.5) @ Virginia Tech
Alabama (-19.5) @ Vanderbilt, OVER 43 points
Baylor (+28) vs. Oklahoma
Arkansas @ Texas A&M, OVER 55 points
Where things stand:
- Initial Funds: $500
- Previous Week: +$22.76 (!!)
- Current Funds: $456.43
- Pending Bets: 12
- Pending Funds: $120
Some instant #analysis on the weekend slate is that Penn State winning by more than 12 points would be pretty impressive. I don't feel too great about our pick though I do expect the Nittany Lions to win at Kinnick. Michigan -10 @ Purdue is interesting as the Boilermakers are a team on the rise. They held their own against Louisville, but the Wolverines actually play defense and are solid in the trenches.
Mississippi State is coming off a game in which they completely shut down LSU but going on the road to Athens is a little bit different. We have Baylor +28 against Oklahoma but everything about Baylor is awful and Baker Mayfield will likely be doing his thing in that one.
Let's keep this train a rollin' into week four. #GetRich
