The No. 3 ranked Oklahoma Sooners entered Saturday's clash at home against Iowa State as heavy favorites but surrendered 25 second-half points in a shocking 38-31 loss.
The upset was significant on many fronts as it marked the first time since 2004 that a team ranked in the top-three of the AP Poll lost a game at home after leading by 14 points. That streak spanned 207 games.
The loss also marked the seventh-straight season in which Oklahoma lost a game despite taking the field as a double-digit favorite.
In a delicious instance of schadenfreude, Iowa State planted the flag.
