Dr. Earl's excellent article on C19 and it's potential impact on team's players has me wondering:

What will Vegas do for a sports book?  Given the huge amounts of  uncertainty C19 will casue about who may be eligible to play in any given game, how do you set a line?  Rumors and inside information could have a much larger impact, since knowing, for example, a key starter or starters tested positive, before the school announces it, would give a bettor a chance to put a big bet down. A game that has say a 21 point line may all of a suddenly have the potential to be much closer and a 7 point line swing the other way.

It will be interesting to see how Vegas responds.  Will the cancel bets if players are kept out at the last minute? Not have a book or set lines for college games? Or will we see large swings as Vegas tries to balance the betting?

Vegas is pretty risk adverse, IMHO, and will no doubt find a way to not risk a large loss on any game.
