Fellows,
Last night my OSU college roommate and best friend while in school, died from Covid at 45. He did not have any pre-existing conditions, but in fairness, he wasn't necessarily a strong person physically. However, he was a trainer at a gym, and did work out all the time.
We did crazy things at OSU; crazier than most people would ever have done there. One night we climbed the fence before there were south stands and started kicking footballs in the shoe. Within 15 minutes a helicopter was over the field and a light from somewhere in the stands was on us. We scaled that fence in about two seconds, back up the hill and hid out somewhere in the Morrill Tower stairwell between the first floor and basement area.
That was the tamest thing we did.
Anyway, be mindful because this thing doesn't pick favorites. This is the 4th person I Know of who has passed, but by far the youngest.
If you ever drank whiskey, smoked cigarettes, or weed, which is all this guy did, you could be just as susceptible. He didn't do these things these days, but he once did.
Again, he wasn't a powerful person, but he wasn't unhealthy.
Likelihood is there was fluid build up in his lungs, and that led to a heart attack, which is father also had, but he was 71.
He loved the Buckeyes, that's for damn sure. He was there in 2002/3 and 2014, and many games in between.
