I’m interested in getting a telescope for deep space astronomy. I’ve been researching the different types of telescopes. People wouldn’t believe how telescopes have developed over the last 10 years. Especially for the amateur astronomer. Yet there are many different types. I’d like to explore our galaxy and alpha centauri and nebula’s. Is this possible for $500. I see Gsyker has a 600x90mm for around $300. I would spend twice that if it would be worth the upgrade for power. Would I be better off getting a used telescope to start with?
