Hello all...

We are taking a family trip to SW Fla..( Port Charlotte area) 

The trip is first and foremost to relax and have fun week exploring new sites.  

We plan on checking out Naples .. Marco..   Ft Meyers..  St Petersburg ...Sarasota..  might even squeeze in a drive to Miami 

We spent a week in Siesta Key about 10yrs ago, but haven't been anywhere else in this area.  This trip is also a chance for us to get a feel for the area.  We plan on relocating somewhere this fall.   I prefer the laid back feel of Hilton Head, but my wife wants a big city feel.  She loves Jacksonville, but is also open to looking at other areas.   

So...  where are your must see places...  go to restaurants...  favorite dive bars with great beers on tap.    any great running trails or biking spots we should check out?
