Hello friends,
I have always loved defense. Something about shutting your opponent down appeals to me. With defenses in general changing and with the Buckeyes and their defense (and the threads here about what the base look should be) I was motivated to study up on some schemes recently. I know a lot of you guys here like this stuff, so I thought I'd share.
I'll begin with what is my favorite film study article found on this site.

That lead me to study on some Rip/Liz.

Next, I thought I'd study something close to what the Buckeyes might do this season. Found these to be fairly insightful.

With the 4-2-5 out of the way, I was told to study the Ram's defense from friends. Found these gems.

After that, I thought I'd go back to the Rip/Liz master himself and found these.

Looking into pattern reading, I found this one.

Two more. Found one I thought was interesting from Coach Smart and his dudes.

Finally, found one from Coach Ash as I remember him running the defense not that long ago.

I know this is a ton. It actually took me some time to watch all of this. Just trying to up my knowledge of scheme in the game and thought I would share with like-minded folks.
Go Buckeyes.
