Of course not. And here's why:
First, he wouldn't change anything about 2020 even with hindsight. Never forget how many games were taken from Big Ten (especially Ohio State) players and fans that year while somehow other conferences managed to figure out a way to play nearly full schedules. He took away THE GAME by giving TTUN an easy out.
And second (not that you should need more than the first point), from media reports it sounds like USC and UCLA called him, not the other way around. Even your local Michigan grad flipping burgers would have taken that call and said "welcome to the league!"
So no, in my opinion this does not redeem Kevin Warren for 2020, and he should have been fired for that disaster. It's never too late for it either, but if he hasn't been fired for that yet it clearly isn't happening anytime soon. Let's just hope good things keep falling into his lap and he doesn't actually have to make judgement calls on big issues.
