Swarbrick has finally commented on the Big Ten/NBC possible television contract. As expected, his comments were full of arrogance. Swarbrick feels that the television deal will be a great thing for Notre Dame, as it will bring more eyes to NBC and college football on the network. Come to watch the Big Ten...stay for the Notre Dame game.

He goes on to say that the media deal between the Big Ten and NBC will only strengthen Notre Dame's stance on being an independent. 

As I have stated many times, any new CFP deal MUST contain a clause that only Power 5/Group of 5 teams have a path to the CFP.
