Kansas has self-imposed penalties for the 2017 FBI investigation into the recruiting scandal involving many of the blue-blood college programs. Needless to say, it is a total joke.

Self has been suspended for the first four games of the season along with an assistant coach. There are some other "penalties" imposed that are equally laughable for such an offense.

Guess Self should just be thankful that he wasn't involved in his players getting tattoos by trading their own property for them. He would have gotten hammered!

It will be interesting to see if the NCAA hits Kansas with more stringent penalties. After watching North Carolina skate away free for its academic cheating scandal, I highly doubt it.
