Here's the link indicating that layoffs are coming for ESPN employees and some will include "on air talent" - -> https://www.cnbc.com/2023/04/19/espn-layoffs-disney-cost-cuts.html
I don't wish bad things for these people but I would love for some of the most annoying ones to be kicked to the curb. Hopefully they find a lucrative line of work outside of sports broadcasting so we no longer have to listen to their crap.
Who are the 3 you would most like to get their pink slips? Here are mine:
1. Chris Fowler - He can take his anti-OSU and pro SEC propaganda to the unemployment line since I'm sick of his schtick and hearing him shill for the SEC. I'm also sick of him getting confused all the time during games.
2. Kris Budden - she comes to ESPNU on Sirius XM and hosts shows totally unprepared. I don't know how she picked-up college football coverage since she knows nothing about it and doesn't even seem to invest time in it. When asked by co-hosts about specific games the prior weekend she stumbles around looking for printed stats to site and it's clear she didn't even watch the games or recaps of them. She's the worst - she somehow gets away with spending tons of time talking about cheese, recipes and kids when she's supposed to be covering sports. When she does talk college football she is totally wrong -- last year after the midpoint of the season she kept talking about how Tennessee was going to be in the playoff and were the most dangerous team. Early in the year she was all over Florida being the most dangerous team and Richardson being the best QB.
3. Reese Davis - see Chris Fowler above.
Those are my 3. To be honest, I also wouldn't mind Herbie getting the ax so that he can move over to Fox or CBS and cover the Big Ten.
