As Buckeye fans we are rightfully proud and protective of Archie Griffin being the only two-time Heisman award winner. I am always a little nervous when a sophomore wins the award and might be in position to win the award a second time.
Assume for this question that only one of these 3 can win the 2023 Heisman: Caleb Williams, JJ McCarthy or Blake Corum. Assume further that no matter who wins the 2023 Heisman, Ohio State will still find a way to win the Game this year in A.A. Also assume if you pick one of the two Mich. players, Archie's record will be safe for at least the next 20 years. So, who do you want to win?
If you choose Williams, obviously Archie is no longer the only two-time Heisman winner. If you pick McCarthy or Corum, nobody wants to see one of their players win the award. I will choose Williams only b/c I hate Mich. so much and having a Heisman winner might help their recruiting. What say you OSU fans? Who is the lesser of two evils?
