Gerenstein won two national championships and two NCFA Offensive MVP awards as the starting quarterback of Ohio State’s club football team for the past four years. Gerenstein also served as a recruiting intern for Ohio State’s varsity football team, joining Mark Pantoni’s staff last year.
Gerenstein took his shot at playing professional football by working out at Ohio State’s pro day, but will now continue his career working in player personnel at Boston College, where he’ll join a staff full of former Ohio State assistants including head coach Jeff Hafley, who was Ohio State’s co-defensive coordinator in 2019.
