There have often been times in which I’ve wanted to post on 11W about various non-OSU-related CFB tidbits throughout the season (and offseason, too) that definitely don’t warrant their own threads but there’s really no appropriate thread in the forum to do so. Maybe it’s to discuss some of the non-OSU games coming up this week or that just took place yesterday, making up an examples. I figure perhaps I’m not alone in that, and wanted see what others thought. 

The concept is very simple and self-explanatory: a recurring “CFB General Thread” to discuss all-things CFB. Observations, opinions, news, a factoid you found interesting, etc. from under the broad umbrella of the national landscape. I was thinking maybe a weekly thread during the season (e.g. for this upcoming week, it would be the “Week 6 CFB General Thread”). It wouldn’t take the place of any of the already-existing recurring/dedicated threads, it’d really just be more of a void-filler for random CFB discussion. 

What say you? Does anyone else like the idea of a dedicated thread similar to what was described? I’m actually kind of surprised there isn’t one, tbh. Maybe we get one going if enough people want it.
