Shocked this one is a game.
~7 minutes left and it’s a 3 point game. Colorado continues to be a really poor running team. QB Sanders still slinging it. Makes good decisions with the ball and has scrambled for some yards when he needed to.
The real shocker is the Colorado secondary is getting absolutely torched by a really underwhelming Stanford passing attack with an QB that has one of the stranger throwing motions I’ve seen in a while. And they’re absolutely going after Travis Hunter, who is getting exposed. He’s given up at least 150 yard receiving himself.
Other takeaways:
1. Not sure I’ve seen a team preen as much after every mediocre play since the 2001/02 Miami teams, and they earned it.
2. Colorado is incredibly undisciplined. 3 unsportsmanlike taunting penalties in the game. Stupid stuff.
3. I’m not convinced Deion uses his headset. Are we sure it’s even plugged in?
4. Colorado’s OC has run some creative plays to get his athletes in space. Wish we saw some of that creativity in Columbus.
5. Stanford made some serious halftime adjustments. I’d turned this one off assuming it would be a blowout. Whoops.
