The thing that makes me believe that this whole situation is true comes from the 2021 game. After the game, we all are aware of the remarks that Jim Harbaugh made regarding our own Ryan Day. He is soft and born on 3rd base. That was very interesting to me because at the time Jim had just beat Ohio State for the first time ever in his career. Instead of enjoying it with his team he made sure to point to the fact that Ryan Day needed to be brought down a peg. It sounds just like a bitter old man upset at the world even though they had just done the impossible. It made no sense to be that bitter after winning.
This comes directly after their covid year of 2-4 and Jim looking down the barrel of a loaded gun with the OSU game looming AFTER Ryan had mentioned earlier in the year that we were going to hang 100 on them. Jim had to do something, so something he did.
Now looking back it makes sense that he was still bitter. In his heart, he knew that he had to have an advantage to win the game, so yes he was happy they won but he wanted to make sure that everything was focused on Ryan Day not being good enough to get the job done. If covid happens Ryan would have been 2-1 against them and there wouldn't have been much distain other than we finally lost to them for the first time in years.
Jim absolutely knew what was going on inside his program and I cant wait for it to all come out in due time.
