On the CBS playoff projections, Ohio State is currently 8th with a home game vs. Tennessee on DEC 20/21.  Who actually seeds these teams?  I don’t think this projection has any surprises other than Miami gets in.  No issue with any team seeded higher than Ohio State.  I’m actually surprised to see the Buckeyes so high.  I guess I expected them to be seeded 10 or lower.  So other than the automatic qualifiers, everything else from the at large bid and seeding are all done through the committee?  This actually looks like a good first playoff.  Good to see it’s not overrun with $ec or BIG10.  I will be curious to see how many teams flip positions from Tuesday’s rankings going into the selection Sunday next week.  Especially the teams that don’t play but yet will rise or fall after the conference championships.  Ohio State and Tennessee are 2 teams fighting for home field but yet no games remain for either of them.  Yesterday was crazy.  But I don’t think we’re done with crazy yet.
