I get the they have like a billion titles but that was under Saban, who is long gone. There is no denying that they have a bunch of 4 and 5 star players (which could get them labeled as one of the best teams) but that should not automatically give them a pass.

The whole point of playing a regular season is to see how that talent does on the field and based on how this season played out, they are not one of the most 12 deserved teams. Yes, they beat a Georgia team that should have 3 losses and they did beat a decent South Carolina team. However, you have to take losses in account as well. They lost to a 6 loss Vandy team and 6 loss Oklahoma team(by 21 points).
